Chocolat Stella Bernrain supports small farms in Peru

In fall 2015, Marisol Espinoza Cruz, Vice-President of Peru, visited the Expo Milano in Italy.
On this occasion, Chocolat Stella Bernrain made something very special. From cocoa and sugar of the small farmers cooperative Norandino, in northwestern Peru, home of Marisol Espinoza Cruz, Chocolat Stella Bernrain created an exceptional Single-Origin chocolate.

During the visit of Marisol Espinoza Cruz at the Expo, on 2nd of Oct 2015, the managing director of Chocolat Stella Bernrain could hand over an extra large panel of this particular chocolate as a token of appreciation, and a symbol for the sealing of the cooperation between Peru and Switzerland. Chocolat Stella Bernrain looking forward to produce these chocolates in future and thereby support the small farmers in Peru. The chocolate distributed by Alce nero, an association of more than 1,000 food producers, under the known organic brand "alce nero" in Italy.
